Bear after the storm
Cub and Mama Bear
I had envisioned a shot like this for several years before I was finally able to make it happen. On this day spring day the female grizzly and her two cubs spent the majority of their time digging roots and eating whatever else they could find.

Old Bear
As soon as I could see the features of this bear through my telephoto lens he immediately made me think of Eeyore. This was early spring and as you can see by the amount of weight he has on him, winter was kind to him.
Bear on Jackson Lake
I was able to observe this bear for sometime in early spring. He crossed the frozen lake and soon headed up a nearby mountain looking for food.
A Walk in the Park
Sometimes capturing a scene like this is by chance. I love the mountains in the background and the little grizzly lagging behind its mother and sibling.
